2009 Graduation Ceremony Heriot Watt University

The Principal, Professor Steve Chapman, The Secretary of the University, The Academic Registrar, The Transnational Director of Studies and Senior Faculty memebrs of the Heriot Watt University wer at the 2009 Graduation Ceremony held in Singapore.
The Principal presented some 250 degree certificates to the graduates.

Planning to attend Graduation Ceremony in UK

There will be 118 degree graduates in November 2009.
20% will attend the graduation ceremony in Edingburgh, UK on 19th Nov 09 while
80% will attend the Graduation ceremony in Singapore on 1st Dec 09.
A briefing session was held on the 5th Sept 09 to discuss the details.

WDA offers Global School a funding of $300,000

9th Feb 2009: WDA offers Global Scholl a funding package of $300,000 for the Centre to train workers in the General Manufacturing industry under the Workforce Skills Qualifications ( WSQ) system.
Global School is now an Approved Traning Organisation of the WDA

16th December 2007 Graduation Ceremony in Kuala Lumpur

The President of HWU, Professor Anton Muscatelli, presented the degree certificates to some 250 graduates at the Graduation Ceremony held in Kuala Lumpuron the 16th December 2007.


For those who were unable to attend the Kula Lumpur Ceremony, a simple degree presentation occasion was held on the 17th December 2008 in Singapore. Profesor Brian Robertson, Director of the School of Built Environment presented the degree certificates

Some 150 January 2008 students attended the Orientation Session held on the 5th January 2008.
Procedures and the Course expectations were briefed. Testimonies from graduates who benefited from the programmes were also shared.

Appointment as Approved Partner for Management degree programmes of Heriot Watt University

The Director and Representative of the School of Management and Languages made an Quality Assurance visit on the 14th and 15th September 2007. This is part of the regular quality procedures of the University.

They are fully satisfied with the Quality Procedures in-place and the commitment of the staff of Trent Global.

HWU appointed Trent Global to deliver the following management programmes as from January 2008:

1) Bachelor degree of Business Administration (BBA)

2) BA in Business & Finance

3) BA in Business & Accounting

4) BA in Accounting & Finance

5) BA in Management.

OUM ( http://www.oum.edu.my/) wasa fromed with a consortium of 11 public universities in Malaysia.
Trent Global is the second oversea partner ( after Dubai) that OUM appointed.
