The need for construction financial manager is vital for the efficient management of construction projects. The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in recognising the demand for these specialists has adopted the approach of accepting graduates from other disciplines. The School of the Built Environment at Heriot-Watt University as an RICS partner is instrumental in meeting the education needs of such graduates by building on their previous education and experience to prepare them for the demands of this profession.
The course provides students with access to both a solid theoretical base and current and future approaches to practical Construction Financial Management practice.
